John Connor...it is time
If anyone believes we will co-exist with a god-like intelligence is delusional. I feel bad for your grand children.

I had to look up John Connor because I didn't understand the reference https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Connor
Not my cup of tea I'm afraid. Real life in real time is sufficiently disturbing these days; I don't have the bandwidth for sci-fi scenarios.

True, it is quickly jumping from sci-fi to reality. AI is coming faster than we know. If you want to know the future, pay attention to science fiction. An example, Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Seas written in the 1870's. The submarine Nautilus is a loose interpretation of a nuclear sub.

How many sci-fi novels missed the mark entirely? Which one will accurately predict the future out of every 1,000 written?

Correct, if you know where to look the future has been announced and it doesn't require watching Hollywood programming to know it.
