Default 2022 F3-L rear axle - should BRP cover replacing it to fit hitch?

I have a 2022 F3-L. The rear axle will not allow me to install a trailer hitch.
I have the correct axle on order. My question is. Would this be covered by BRP
to install the correct axle. Thanks for any information.

If they sold you the Spyder with the WRONG AXLE ..... then BRP should have the Dealer correct this under warranty .... Mike

I'm in the same boat. My dealer says the correct axle is backordered until the end of August.

Since a trailer hitch is not standard, required equipment, my guess is that it is not a warranty item... just that they put different axles (probably from different supplier) on the 2022's (with a different size inside diameter space). I am also waiting for a 20/21 axle to put on my 2022 RT

Has anyone thought to call their dealer and ask if it's covered under warranty? If they do and get a "no" answer, they should call BRP customer service directly and open a case.

Has anyone gotten a response from BRP about them replacing the rear axle with one with hole so you can mount the trailer hitch or was this a corporate move to get more money from Spyder owners? Thanks.

Just guessing here, but shouldn't the new axle be supplied as part of the CanAm trailer hitch kit? After all, you're paying enough for it.

I had mine replaced at no cost. Factory (BRP) knows about this problem.

Mine replaced under warranty also. Took two tries as wrong part came the first time.
