    Default Here's how to do a Parasitic current test...

    If your battery is going dead after the bike sits for a few days, and the battery tests good or you believe it is good, the next step is to conduct a Parasitic Current Test. It's not hard to do and doesn't take much time. You'll need a multimeter for this test. If you don't have a multimeter in your toolbox, you should. A best seller on Amazon is only $13.

    Most constantly energized devices, such as ECU, regulator; should not exceed about 1 milliamp each.
