Default What does the passenger seat sensor control

Please only answer if you know for sure. I have read so many different 'opinions' on this. I would like to finally get an accurate answer.

    Thx
    Rick

When a passenger sits on the seat the sensor sends the information to the "nanny" system. The emergency braking will act differently when there are two aboard.

Does it control anything other than the brake bias?

Not kicking in sooner, as Peter says, but different, the nanny is more aware, if you want to put it like that....
the funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it........
