Default Kenda vs Kuhmo ECSTA AST - How would you compare them?

Has anyone used both of these tires? How would you compare them? Thanks

Did you do a search on the Kumho? Plenty of old posts about it.

I know the Kuhmo has a questionable rating compared to other car tires but wondered how it compared to the Kenda, especially the new kanine.

There are better rear tires than the Kuhmo; General Altimax for one, Vredestein Quatrac for another, Michelin Defender for a third.
Artillery lends dignity to what would
    otherwise be a vulgar brawl.

I tried both out here in Oz, and felt far more “comfortable” cornering on Kuhmo (18psi all round) Bunson. The Kuhmos still looked great after 30,000km when I sold the F3…….BUT…..there have been quite a few reports on here that the Kuhmo doesn’t handle the wet so well in the US. (Maybe a different road compound). You may be better with Vredesteins etc.

Have over 22k miles on the Kumho’s and still a lot to go. Definitely better than stock, but Looking for something in between it and the Altimax for next time. Altimax has too good of grip for our grooved roads. Wants to follow them (even in the cars).

The federals in front are a winner though, 12k and still look new.

    Thanks for all the replys.
I'm going to start a new thread that explains why I asked this question. It would high jack this thread.
