Any thoughts/opinions on Zarate Tail Rack for a Ryker?

Hello everyone.

I'm considering the Zarate rack, mainly because I am filling up my trunk and side Shad bag these days. I would love to mount a cooler on this rack to carry drinks and lunch.

The sole reviewer stated that he received negative feedback regarding "unsprung weight".

Can anyone shed any light on this? Any thoughts or opinions on the design?

Ive looked at it online quite a bit but im not really sure what i would use it for. What would i put there that is light? I thought maybe a sleeping bag or tent for camping but an errant strap in the wheel would be bad. So ultimately for the price and limited usage i have passed.

The other rack that some sellers have that connects to the bottom of the max mount and extends out over the rear tire is of interest tho.

Personally I think it is a bad idea, because yes it is going to bounce around on the road unlike a rear rack which is of course suspended. I'd pass.
