Need advice/info on Removing the DPS module - 2013 RT

I am trying to replace my dps module can anyone help. Its a 2013 Can Am Spyder Rt. I have the front end off, the steering shaft I'm having problems with....

I doubt there's much anyone can do apart from telling you it's not a massively hard job, but the DPS is something you need to replace as a unit, and once installed, it'll need to be 'recognised & calibrated' by BUDS/BUDS2 before you can ryde - BUT, it'd really help to know what year/model Spyder you have?? It's a good idea to include at least the model & year of your Spyder in your signature line so that every reader can see at a glance what you are talking about. If you try to do that & have troubles, drop me a PM & I'll help sort it for you.

That said, the avatar pic on your profile is of a yellow 2013 RT, while the Forum section you've posted this thread in is the GS/RS Sport under General Discussion section.... Should it really be in the RT Shop Talk section?? . If so, tell me & I'll move the thread for you.

Thanks, Im having a hard time here. I have a 2013 Spyder RT. I have the front section off. I see the steering shaft that is hard to reach. I'm not sure how much I have to remove to get this thing out...

Dave .... the last I checked the DPS was around $1400.00 just for the part .... I found my DPS on an 08 GS ( V-twin also ) it was on the right side .... good luck ... Mike
