Default Baja Ron bar or Cat delete for 2020 RTL?

Trying to decide which farkle to add on first. A Baja Ron sway bar or a cat delete. I don't want to do both at the same time because my income is a monthly social security check. Since it is really hot right now in Texas, I'm kinda leaning towards the pipe. Whadaya think?

Truly an "Almost life & death decision", Do you have more need for speed in the corners or noise in the exhaust? Turn up your radio and hearing aid and go with the new Baja Ron bar is my "Final answer"!...Bill

I’m going the BajaRon sway bar first. Pipe comes later. BajaRon brand definitely. The exhaust I haven’t made it my mind yet. I had a Two Brothers on a 2013 RSS. I loved how it sound.

Are you looking for performance or comfort?
Go with the BaJa Ron Bar first. It has a demonstrable immediate riding effect.
The Cat Delete is not as definitive in performance changes but does offer some comfort advasntage.
I have both on my Spyder.

Better to ask Ron if he has a bar for your Spyder in stock.

    .

I think the anti-sway upgrade will make you smile more than the noise. The bar was one of my earliest farkels. Still have the stock pipe.

I added the BR swaybar first, then 2 years later, the RLS cat delete.

Honestly, I think this is the preferred order ....

I’ve done both, and which one first is arbitrary. You mention the heat in Texas right off the bat, so I’m thinking that the ambient temperature coupled with the temperature from the cat is bothersome to you, so I’m leaning towards the cat delete. I know that made a real difference to the heat generated to my saddle. The stock swaybar is adequate and safe, but makes cornering more stable. Your comfort can mean the difference between going for a ride and not going for a ride. YOUR CALL

I put the sway bar on right away and put a cat delete pipe on a month ago, I removed the cat delete yesterday. The exhaust fumes were more then I am prepared to handle. Plus with the stock muffler, the sound wasn't really noticeable, my wife didn't realize I had replaced anything on the exhaust so to her it made no difference. Chris

What happened to ''loud pipes save lives'' and all that? Pretty crumby neighbours that would dispute the sweet sound of an RLS cat delete on song.

I have done both. Definitely more bang-for-buck with the sway bar. I am hoping the cat delete will reduce heat when it gets really hot here, but time will have to tell. In terms of sound, there is no real difference. (I installed an RLS powder-coated pipe, so it is baffled). It fit beautifully (and easily) and there is no increase in fumes. I lost some weight, hopefully some heat and am using a Power Commander 3 and a tune that takes the cat delete into consideration. Bike runs great. Louis at Dynojet Reseatch (Powervision) is very responsive and helpful.

Thanks everyone for the replies, even the smartazz one. One thing I value is being able to ask questions on here and then read the different replies.
