Default Color decision - I have a choice to make and I can't decide...

    Need help!
I have a choice to make and I can't decide. I can buy a 2022 RT Limited Chrome in either Hype Silver or Deep Marsala Metallic.
Both are beautiful colors and I can't decide which to choose.
    Help!!!

Which one do you think people will notice? I have a 2015 RT-S in yellow. Many times I have noticed people fixing to pull out into traffic and then they see me and stop.

I usually choose a lighter colored bike as the lighter colors don't seem to show dirt as bad.. but this time I chose the Marsala Red/Black.
I didn't care for the clay color available at the time.
I am pleased with the color but the overall paint quality on the bike seems to be very poor and thin.
Some of the glossy black areas have scratchy-looking swirls in them from the day I picked it up.
My riding partner says he thinks the detail guy at the dealership used a dirty rag to "polish" it up before I picked it up.
I think it looks like the paint had not "cured" before they wrapped the cellophane over it for shipping.

Last fall while at my local (90 miles away) dealership I looked at the quality of a 21 RT on the showroom floor and was unimpressed. The quality just didn't seem to be up to my '14; looks to me like BRP is cutting corners to save shekels.

I wanted Red but ended up getting Chalk Metallic. If the red 1s were available when I was trying to purchase, I would've gone with that. I don't think you can wrong with either color, but something about the Deep Marsala just grabs my attention.

Hopefully, BRP fixed the soft paint issue since 2020. The paint scratches and chips very easily on the 20s. I chose white because the marks don't show up as much as the darker colors.

I am partial to the Marsala Red. But that is "my" personal opinion.

Over the years, I had two "silver" ones. 08--I think that color had something to do with the moon, and 2011--that was titanium silver.

Colors that I was not to wild about tended to "grow" on me over time. Color is relative. I took what was available to get the deal I wanted. It all worked out for good for me.

Long, long ago I was in the car business. A very wise veteran told me there were only two color preferences, light and dark. Most people follow that preference regardless of actual color. Darker colors are beautiful when shiny and clean in the lights of the showroom. Lighter colors are more visible on the road and do not show the road dirt as much. A good example of visibility shows in ARtraveler's signature pictures. I'm a lighter color guy..... Jim

100%. I love the looks of the 2020 and up RT, but it is hard for me to give into the little things that BRP seem to have cut the corners on. From the grade bolts that hold the handle bars on to the redesign on the fenders. They went cheaper on a lot of things that will not be noticed unless you look closely. But saying that, I will probably be making the leap in the next 2 years or so just because i really do like the looks of the new one, especially without the trunk.

I have a circuit yellow 2014 RT-S. I bought it because the yellow stands out in traffic. And there's a lot of painted surfaces on the older models.

IMO, the newer design has too much black plastic (I should buy stock in Back-to-Black). It tends to overpower/diminish whatever color you choose. If I buy a new one, I'd like one that stands out in traffic. None of the current colors do that, because there's too much black.

    I have a 2014 RTS-SE6 Cognac.

I went with the Cognac color because it was different and it was a new color, and a new spyder model, and it had all the major upgrades done.

It is a bright color and can be seen on the road.

I doesn't show the dirt on it as much as the darker colors.

Buy which one you like. Asking others opinions makes no sense to me. The shiny bits will 'pop' off the red more than the silver.
