Default Anyone replaced OEM RT-622 trailer tires? What with??

Hello, I have a 2012 RT-622 trailer with the original Load Star 4.80x12 tubeless tires. Since they are 10 years old (with not many miles 5K maybe) I'm thinking new ones are in order. Anyone replaced these? With what?

    Thanks All

Oh Boy. Hope this does not turn into a mess.

But these are a Kenda Tire. You could just get the same tire.

Or another 4.80 x12 tire will work.

    Good Luck

That's an OLD tire ..... even if the trailer was kept out of the sun .... it's on borrowed time ...Even if you have it fully loaded that's only 400lbs. and will put less stress on each tire ...... So if you have fobo psi detectors on the wheels , when it goes flat you will know immed. and can change it ..... good luck .... Mike

I'd PM Ann Meyer, she has replaced many of them.

I asked this question a few years ago and replaced with the Kenda Load Stars with the recommendation of Ann.https://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/...res-for-RT-622

JMHO < but I suggest buying the least expensive tire that will fit ..... UNLESS you are using the trailer a lot ..... most of these trailer tires for lightweight trailers will ROT from age long before they wear out ..... good luck .... Mike
