Default Shortage of Chili peppers too!

Now I read there is a shortage of them too that will influence the availability of hot sauces.

The news said the shortage of peppers is due to a drought in Mexico.

Little Blue, not just America, This is a global problem, Everyone is blaming Covid-19, imho The whole system was broken already, before covid-19
It's easy to put the blame, on something you cannot control, We should all be putting more time into fixing the system, and get the world rolling again....
the funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it........

FWIW, my 2 cents. Covid was no accident, period! As the man said, after all the searching, they've never come across that smoking bat.
WOW, we've drifted way off topic here. ARtraveler, this post needs to be shut down.

Seems to me there has ALWAYS been a shortage of one thing or another. Various causes..... drought, snow, too much rain, freezes, etc. I think it is just being reported more and sensationalized. We can deal with it as we always do. But to be safe, I put hot sauce on my grocery list...... ..... Jim

Between the drought in the Southwest and a now broken supply chain, there are going to be spot shortages on many consumer food products I think. That's not likely to change for years to come. The pandemic just accelerated things, I believe.
