Fobo 2 - why not buy 2 sets to cover air bag plus spares?
I am wanting to get the Fobo 2 for my Spyder plus I would like one for the air bag/shock.
I see where the fobo 2 for trike is around 149.00 + or -.
I also saw where you can purchase an extra cap for about another 49.00.
My question is, why not just buy two of the fobo 2's for a bike and that way you'll have a extra when/if needed.
The cost of two fobo 2 is 99.00 each so the cost is the same plus you have a extra cap.
Any reason not to do this?

Cost would be the same. I bought originally the trike version. When I wanted to add one to the shock I bought the bike version so I would actually have a spare.

No reason I can think of. The app won't know if the sensors are from different sets . Smart

I have not looked very closely at the two devices, but have to ask: how many devices are shown on the respective screens?
I have a (possibly erroneous) conception that the Fobo 2 might display just two devices, while the model for a trike will show three, possibly even four.
Just guessing.

The FOBO 2 app has a selection for reverse trike (our Spyders) plus air bag so 4 total sensors. It guides you through installation so the app knows which sensor is registered to which tire/bag.

Yep, there is only 1 FOBO 2 app. You tell it the rest on configuration of sensors

I had already downloaded the app and saw that the user selected the Bike/Trike in the app just before setting it up.
Thanks for pointing that out though as others might not know that.

Here is a shot of what is available in the app and another showing the reverse trike with air bag option.

Can you buy a 4-wheel (car) set? The only downside is remembering which sender is on which tire/air bag.

Why not. What's to remember? Just load the FOBO 2 app for motorcycles and when you pair each sensor during the install it will remember and and show it in that place on the screen
