Angry 2020 F3-T getting stuck in neutral - ideas?

I bought a 2020 T (SE) during the Covid shut down. Never went back to the dealer because of distance, winter storage, and I do my own routine maintenance.

On my first group ride, the damn thing got stuck in neutral, wouldn't shift up or down. I had to roll it out of the intersection and down the block. It finally got over it's brain fart. I thought nothing further about it since it was brand new.

Did it again on another ride, and got it to shift within a minute.

It did it again a couple of days ago when riding cross country from CA to CO. The bad one was trying to get it out of reverse after backing into my garage. That one took some convincing..

Calling the local dealer on Tuesday, it's due for it's first service (3k) anyway.

There's a shift shaft sticking out of the bottom, left engine case. Is that a shift shaft? It would be good to do this manually if I get stuck in the middle of nowhere.

MsgtR it sounds like your problem could be the reverse lockout switch. Mine has been replaced twice.

Thanks. Now you're going to make me wish for an M6.

Oh boy.. another damn thing to fix. This thing is too new for that.
Tomorrow, I'll call G-Force and make an appointment.

    THANK YOU !!!!!!
    I love a back-up plan.
Some of the places I've been this month is no place to get stuck in.

Update: Trike is at the dealer. They hadn't heard of this problem for the 2020's. We shall see. Knowing my luck, I suspect it will be "cannot duplicate".

The dealer had to get in to the "screen" that supplies oil pressure to the reverse mechanism. Shifts fine now.
I thought it was odd to do something like this as a new vehicle, and such low mileage.

the funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it........

MsgtR - So are you saying that the dealer said that the problem was "oil pressure to the reverse mechanism"? It sounds a bit like saying that the frenulator wire came unbundled from the bramus-sphincter.

    Good one!
The HCM (Hydraulic Control Module) filter is mentioned in the service intervals during an oil change, but not until something like 28,000 miles. This one is far from reaching that number.
