Default Tie down option for toyhaulers

This is the first time I’ve had the toyhauler out this year. Wife and I are taking 3 day trip to West Virginia for memorial weekend. Since last fall there has been several posts on how to tie down other than trac system over the tire. Here is my tie down system. It is almost identical to the “bolt it” chock system. I have 2 toyhaulers. (38 fuzion 5th wheel with almost 14 garage and a 26’ toyhauler pull behind) this tie down system I used with 2 spyders in the fuzion (front in back in) and traveled almost 8200 miles last summer and nothing moved with an 8’ cross bar. We use the same system with the atv and SXS. These pictures show it in the work and play. Takes less than 5 minutes total to load, hook and strap. We’ve run the work and play with this short cross bar since 2017 and have probably 15k or so with the spyder. With the fuzion I have front and rear bars. As you can see below the work and play I simply cross straps under to tie downs. At several rallies guys have commented on how slick it works. Just sharing.

Rear tire short strap around tire. Long strap around rear just for extra. Criss cross straps on front.

Straight on view. When using front wheels the chocks have adjustable extensions so nose doesn’t hit crossbar.

Here is a suggestion for tie down, run a strap over the center of rear tire go under neath the your spyder ( so you don't scratch the tupperware) an secure the tie down to the front of of your trailer. The above works. Ask Mike ( Blueknight911) about strapping down a spyder.
