 Spyders on The Simpsons
One bit of evidence that something has "made it" into popular culture is a mention/gentle mocking on TV's The Simpsons. Well, Spyderlovers...we have made it! On this past Sunday's (5/15) episode a billionaire is bragging to the Simpson family about all the companies he owns. He talks about tech companies and then ends with "I even own a company that makes 3-wheel motorcycles for old weirdos"  (remember, I did say that they mock everything). Just to prove that he wasn't talking about standard trikes, later in the episode a bunch of people ride up to attend a Board Meeting of the company clearly riding what can only be Spyders!
So, fellow Old Weirdos rejoice, we have finally arrived!
