Default So let's see how these tires & new 2up shock works out!?

2019 F3 S Special series. just put on 2 x 165/60R15 Conti Pro contacts on the front, I've put car tires on all my Spyders. Also just received a new occasional two up shock I got on eBay and I'll pop it on tomorrow. The wife only weighs 123 lbs and me 190 so hoping the shock will be an improvement. At the moment I did not want to invest the $ in a high end shock and hoping it wont be too stiff with the spring being much thicker and coiled tighter than the stock unit.

    We shall see... fingers crossed.

Can-Am recommends the occasional two up shocks for loads of 240# and up. I used the two up shock for two seasons, riding 100% solo (220#) and with (3) piece loaded luggage for trips. It worked well most of the time. You will notice an improvement over the stock shock, but it still is as basic of a shock as they get. Hope it works out...

If you switch alot, riding one-up or two-up, the upgraded two-up shocker is too basic, the fox shocker, is too weak on the spring, if you want the real experience, try a shock with a hydraulic pre-load adjuster, you will love it.
Trac-tive makes them, Elka does too, but they have been having problems with the seals, Wilbers comes to mind, also a good shock, there are many shocks for the spyder. I have Tract-tive fronts and rear, and I just love them, they make the ride so much better.

Hey Spyderman, sure I can provide a link
    Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/TractiveSuspension/
    Website: https://tractivesuspension.com/produ...ter_cat_0=1848

I have the first set, they engineered them special for me,(they had my bike for three months) I know the owner personally, if you give them a shout over email, they surely will respond, they are global for service, so that won't be an issue.
Have them now for about 2000 km's, and they make the ride better, more grip, more control, am not affiliated with the company, won't get any share on sale, but the product they provide, is just off the charts, especially the hydraulic preload adjuster, for the rear shock, is tha bomb

If you switch often, like me, between one or two-up riding, this will prevent the bottoming out, on the OE shock, while still a comfortable ride experience is provided, we have alotta speedbumps overhere in the Netherlands, from a small slope to steep jumpy ones, and it never ever bottomed out on me once...
