Excellent choice for the front, and if you don't ride a lot in cold/wet conditions, the rear is also a winner (based on personal experience).
'20 Spyder RT: Bajaron swaybar. Vredestein tires, Pedal Commander, Elka front shocks, GPS/USB/12V handlebar mount, Heli-Bars, Radar Detector, KOTT grills & vents, Shad top case, chin & DRL LEDs.

Shouldn't be a problem since I live in Arizona

I have the same combo on my Spyder....Vredesteins on the front and General Altimax on the rear. Up here in Canada, or at least on the westcoast, Vredesteins are very difficult to find...wasn’t able to even locate on the web. I only have about 1,000 kms on the Altimax so too early to comment on wet weather riding (I try to avoid wet anyway). The Generals are readily available at a local tire dealer.

When you guys buy tires online, do you pull the wheels and take them to a dealer, or do you just let them do it all? Also, how reasonable (or not) do you find the prices most places charge to change tires you didn't buy form them?

For myself, the dealer will NOT ORDER anything but OEM, but he WILL INSTALL anything I bring him. This is not usual.....most dealers WILL ONLY INSTALL THE OEM, and this also includes ANY aftermarket that I may bring in. I have a very obliging dealer. Not sure what his shop rate is, but I think in the neighbourhood of $120.00 to $130.00 an hour.

After searching around and getting a lot of No's. I just took the dip and learned how to remove the rear tire and took it to a local automotive place here in town that also works on atv's, they were more than willing to swap the tire on the rim. That was after driving to 3 major tire chains who not only said they wouldn't do it but didn't even have the proper equipment to do it.
My suggestion after having this wonderful "BRP" experience with tires, look for a local auto shop that also works on bike's, atv's or side by sides. I was able to get 3 tires mounted for $60.

You'll like the Vredesteins - same as I have on my '20 RT. Much quicker turning response and they are much better in the rain than the OEM Kendas that I took off.
Sold: 2020RT base with numerous improvements and farkles

Yea when I said dealer, I should have specified tire dealer. I've seen the guy in action at my local BRP dealer. No way he's touching mine, except as a last resort. Thanks for the info.

My Spyder dealer uninstalls the wheels. He then takes the wheels to A CERTAIN new car dealer that he deals with and has them mount the tires onto the wheels. He then brings the wheels back and installs them back onto the Spyder.

I bought all my Tires at Discount Tire for around $250... I removed all the wheels in my Garage, took them to town, and had a young guy who runs his own motor cycle shop remove and replace all 3 tires for about $55... He did a great job, and if I ever have to do it again, I hope he is still in there!

Just wanted to know, what brand of tires did you purchase?

I just wanted to know if you got a better price.

Ohhh, soo sorry. I bought Kumho ESCTA 225/50R15, seems like that tire was about $98 best I remember, and the fronts were Sincera 165/65R14 at about $65 each. Hope this helps.

Technically the Spyder has "J" type Automobile rims.
Tell the shop the tires are for a trailer.
Worked for me.

Just looking for information for next time!
I ordered online. When the question comes up as to what vehicle they are for, there is an option to not specify. They don't need to know.
