F3T Handlebar Mirrors

I was frustrated at always seeing my arms in the F3T mirrors so...
I built a set of F3T Handlebar Mirrors with components from Amazon
All it took was drilling and tapping two mounting holes in the OEM handlebar cuffs.

The images will right themselves when previewed.

I can now see over and around my shoulders with a clear view of the areas to my sides and behind the bike.
Inexpensive and very effective.

Looks good. Fits the Spyder like they were made for it. I always hated how they mounted the stock mirrors. I put blindspot mirrors on top
of the stock mirrors on my RTL. Now I can see what is beside me a lot better.

Very elegant solution and the design you picked for both the arms and the mirrors really works. Looking at that you do have to wonder why Can-am continue to persist with bodywork mounted mirrors when they have never really done the job.

Very nice set up, and I love that seat. But you got to keep those OEM mirrors. How else will you know that your elbows are in the correct position. To me, it seems like that is about all they are used for. I owned a 2014 RT, 2012 RSS, and many other bikes, and the stock F3T mirrors are the most usless things that I have ever seen.

The bolt and tap are 10mm coarse. The drill hole is centered over the alignment pin in the cuff casting. The cast alignment pin was replaced with a stub of a bolt.

Nice fab! If those mirrors are that useless for you, why not remove them? Get some fiberglass panels and fab an aero shape (or just cover the openings over flat) and color-match the body paint (or do something creative with the color and maybe add turn signal indicators in it...) I've heard from a few people that those mirrors are trouble. I haven't found it to be so on my F3 - yet.
