    Default trying to replace brake pads..

    I can't get the bolts out that hold the fender on so that I can see what I need to do. The bolts for the calipers are frozen on also. What the hell, over!

    I suggest applying some type of " rust buster " or penetrant like Liquid Wrench a few times over a period of days. use a cloth to prevent OVERSPRAY and also tap on the bolt head to spread the liquid ..... If you have a large soldering iron you can also heat the bolt heads .... Annnnnnnnnnnnnd use a breaker-bar .....good luck .... Mike

    What's the trick to remove the bolts for the fenders and the calipers. Are they reverse threads, loctited in? I can't get them loose. Please help, I don't want to hafta take it to the dealer.

    NO - not reverse threaded ( lefty loosey- righty tighty ) .... Did you read what I said about BRP's use of Lok-Tite ????? .... Mike

    Exclamation Don't screw up the rear brake piston

    In many cases the rear brake pads wear out before the front pads. In which case buy the BajaRon tool to retract the piston. Don't screw this up or you will be buying a new caliper as the threads are easy to damage.

    Acetone and ATF fluid, half and half, is a good penetration mix.
