Can't be sure of year or model, but I do recall watching some dude try to wrap a pipe on a spyder, on YouTube.

I may be dreaming. But, I hope to get a Spyder or Ryker, soon.

Just read through "Do-s-and-Do-Nots-for-new-Spyder-owners" and the following posts. Lots of good/helpful info.
Lots of other forums could go to school on this.

I'm sure there are .... However is the benefit worth the effort .... Some of the exhaust pipeing wouldn't be too difficult to do .... you could just do that much .... Mike

Not an '09 GS, so I dunno if it'll help you any, but I've wrapped the 'Y' header pipes right down to the cat eliminator on my 2013 RT Ltd?!? Why do you ask?

I wrapped everything from the block to the exhaust cans. I did not however wtap the 3 sections that the pipes go into each other.

So for those who wrapped: did it make any difference in under tupperware heat?

Never wrapped the y-pipe but wrapped the two main pipes, it did help but I heard it can cause them to crack. So I went to a different level, cut the main pipes out ordered some stainless-steel exhaust couplings, had them welded, and sent the pipes including the cat delete ceramic coated inside and out.

I titanium wrapped my tuned pipe and cat delete on my '18 RTL, (excluding the junctions) and feel it dramatically reduced rider heat. Kudo's to Claire in Georgia, yours looks very neat and tidy.
