    Default NEW - LED headlights

So one of my headlights ( led ) on my 14 RT faded ??? ... it didn't go completely dark, just didn't put out much intensity ??? ( strange ) .... I looked for new ones & found a pair on Amazon .... 16000 Lumens, 80 W. per pair, fan cooled, 6500K, sold as Fahren Forenner brand #9005 / HB-3 ( type this in the product box ).... My previous ones were from TriCled and were 5 years old. What I noticed about these new ones, were the distance they threw the light, a lot better than the old pair. The light is also more focused, straight down the road. There was enough side spread to make animals visible on both sides, but I think on-coming cars would be less likely to be affected by the brightness .... I also noticed they didn't interfere with my radio on FM ... ( not all LED's are this good ). Best thing was I only paid ...$ 25.31, shipped FREE .... I would recommend them, I have night vision issues because of my age ( 75 ) and these are much, much better than the Tri-Cled's or my Sienna which also has LED's ..... I may get a pair to re-place those .... PS they are " focusable ",. if you need to. ( also said it WON'T fit a 14 Spyder RT , I had no issues getting them inside the OEM cover, after making two slots for the Resistor (?) wires ) ...... Good luck .... Mike

LED's have improved greatly especially over ones that are five years old. Many LED'a now are delivering a good light with a good pattern, not the case five years ago.
