Nope, and I really don't like it, it takes away from the whole intent to drive a spyder, but I guess, it's his bike, and he can mod it anyway he likes....
the funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it........

I was following a couple that was riding to Alaska. They took a picture of a Gold Wing that looked very similar. They had a solar charger mounted on it and powered a small fridge. That wing was really loaded down.
If you have one don't go riding when its windy. It will be an exciting ride! I've seen a few Goldwings with a cover but they live in Texas or New Mexico or Arizona and have them for shade rather than rain.
You'll find something similar in Europe but with the top attached to the front rather than the rear.
The last one I caught on Facebook late last year. It's a home made one-of-a-kind thing. But - As I said if it's windy the ride is gonna be extra fun!
I’m just taking a stab at this but if you look at the picture there’s 2 round suction or discs on the windshield. (Circled in yellow) there looks like an arm that swings down and latches over disc. (Circled in blue) To me the canopy needs to hinge back, to allow rider to swing foot over seat and sit or head would hit the top. So sort of like a cockpit on a fighter jet. It hinges up and once in pull back down, latch and drive. To me it’s a sun screen nothing else. Click n my picture to enlarge the colors and circles.

When I feel the need for a canopy, I put the Spyder in the garage and ride one of my cars. After adding a canopy, what's next, adding doors on the side? Maybe adding a fourth wheel and a steering wheel inside of handlebars. Sort of defeats the whole reason I ride my Spyder.
