Default Helmet sound for sled heads

Going thru posts about sound/comms systems leaves me with questions I know you all can answer! I use a modular sled helmet. I have tried a couple different ear buds and not happy with that. Sled and wind noise makes me have the volume too high. Looks like Cardo would be the way to go but don't really care about the comms part. Do the supplied speakers fit in any helmet? Do any of you use this while snowmobiling? Options I don't know about? Thanks in advance

Have never had a set that I was happy with.

If you want something simple to just bluetooth tunes/take calls, the Cardo Freecom or Sena 5S will work good. I'm very happy with my 5S units. The Sena 5S is around $150, but the unit below is a good deal. What helmet are you using? If it has built in speaker pockets, these should fit easily. One complicating issue could be if you have a visor slide located on your lower left side. I have both a Scorpion EXO-AT950 modular helmet and LS2 Valiant II modular helmet. Sticky clamps work great on these. FYI ...

I have looked at Cardo and U Clear. I use a Gmax modular. Has no speaker cut outs. Can be modded or need to buy or need new helmet with them in?

I think instead of carving out some pockets in the Styrofoam, I'd just buy a dedicated modular motorcycle helmet. Can you carve out the Styrofoam for speakers? Sure...

We're using the UClear Motion Infinity sets on both our sled and Spyder helmets. They have really good speakers. The microphones are hidden and the noise reduction is outstanding.

Ive had helmet speakers and comm systems on all my helmets since early 80s.Every kind of helmet you can think of except snowmobile and what Ive learned is you can make them fit anything by trimming the foam or rerouting the wires and using all your leftover mounting parts, even velcro or hot glue. One time I made a boom mike out of an old flexible stalk flashlight for a half helmet.I have 2 perfectly good sena 10s models if your interested.

Thank's all! Think I will try the cardo. If it don't fit reasonably easy I'll get new headgear.
