Go for it Mike. By the time you get the details worked out the weather will be better. Would make for a nice ride home.

Yea, it would be nice ..... IF .... I wasn't about to turn ...75 .. on 3-11-22 .... I drove to Spyderfest in Mo., from 2013 to 2019 and that was 1500 + mi. each way. ... But 3000 + mi. is whole nother thing. $10,000 is a great price ( imho ) but, I would have to pay approx. $ 2000.00 to ship it today .... a couple of months from now it going to be even more. ..... My 14 RT is in great shape with lots of DIY mods, and with 66,000 mi., it's long from dead. ( unlike me ) ..... Mike

Last summer when my wife(80) and I went traveling down to the Smokies and around. At that time I still had my 03 GW trike. Looking forward to something similar with the 2015 RT I acquired last fall.

That is what I was thinking. I see the Ryker is for sale in WA. That is a long way. My last long ride...4400 miles was from AK to AR. That was in a car. We felt beat up from the ride. I don't know about long rides for us anymore. I start feeling it after a hundred miles or so these days.

I'm just one of the lucky ones. I do understand what you are asking, tho. Total trip was just under 2 wks. 5-6 days of that time was at a campground friends of ours have. When on the road our days are sometime 160 miles and sometimes 350. It depends on what kind of roads and where we are headed. We also pull a Bunkhouse, although we only used it one time on the road. Guess I'm getting soft.
