I bought from Dave a few months ago and love it. I'm glad I didn't op for a real inexpensive holder. Also, He is a nice guy to chat with.

My garmin is at least five times better than any phone GPS and it's bout 5 or 6 years old now. Use to play my music via usb but somebody paid can am not to let that happen anymore. Oh well I got an old phone that will work for that.

Absolutely! And there-in lies the rub, and no matter what material used, nor how well made, this type of mount will transmit all the road bumps and machine vibration right up to the phone.
Making viewing difficult or possibly impossible, making touch more difficult as you try to touch a moving object, but worst of all, the possibility of damaging the phones camera which does not handle constant vibration well. I have no dog in this. Each rider needs to get the facts and purchase that which they deem the best for them.

The manufacturing looks great as does the survivability, though I seriously doubt a bowling ball will drop from the sky.
BTW - Plastic is not a "cheap" product and I point to "bullet proof glass" polycarbonate.

I agree totally Dave. It all depends on your wants and/or needs. Some of us use our phone for gps and music, some of us don’t. It’s all up to each individual rider....and for us to decide, we NEED PEOPLE LIKE YOU to provide us with our particular options. Then each of us can decide just what it is that we want.
