Inexpensive places to stay around Wilkes-Barre?
I'll be in Wilkes-Barre next week doing genealogy research. Can anyone recommend inexpensive lodging? My fallback plan is camping in the state parks, but I'd prefer a room so I don't have to haul all my stuff everywhere I go.

Red Roof Inn $53
Days Inn $56
But don't expect much...old and worn down

Are you familiar with the Red Roof? If so, would you feel safe leaving your Spyder parked outside?
