Default Anyone mount an Adaptiv TPX on F3-T or L? How did you do it?

Anyone mount a Adaptiv TPX on the F3 T or L and if so how did you do it? On my RS I removed the safety card and replaced it with a piece of aluminum that allowed me to mount the radar above the clocks, however with the F3 that is where the cubby hole for phones is. I'm not a fan of mounting them to the bars as I like my bars uncluttered.

...and please lets not turn this into a radar detector bashing discussion. In NZ rural towns, petrol stations and accident black spots have devices around that trigger radar detectors and so they are very useful for reminding you to take extra care or to watch your speed in rural towns.

Each their own. Just don’t see the need ; accidentally carried away while jamming some good tunes (maybe) rest is supposed to be enjoying the ride: sights, sounds & all casual not -speed on by might see on next lap. Right? Just a thought

No F3, nor Adaptive unit. Was intrigued though and checked their website.

I did see they offer a variety of different mounts. While maybe not a popular option, but have you considered one of the mounts that fastens with two screws, and hard mounting it to the glaresheild or the lid for the glovebox on your F3? Worse drawback is two small holes, but the benefit is the unit is mounted where you desire, and those holes could be easily plugged later with two black screws.

Screws are not an issue as I've already put a ram mount in for my GPS, in fact you've given me an idea for a possible solution...

Sorted, plus GPS and a spare attachment point if I need it.
