CB Question for 2021 F3-T
is anyone using A Midland 75-822 CB on their F3-T?? If so what bracket did you use to hole it on with?

F3-S, so a little different windshield mounting. I made a clip on adapter for a 1" RAM ball mount system. Wired the PTT and headset out to the left handlebar. Hardwire connection to helmet speakers. The bigger issue is to use an external NGP antenna and tune the SWR. Otherwise range will be very short. With the NGP and proper tuning, I could get more range than my H-D OEM CB.
Full disclosure: we no longer ride with large groups so I removed the CB.

Actually an old topic.
I pulled up an older photo, could not find mine.
Most were using the Midland with the Sena SR10

An antenna option is to look at Firestick CB antennas. You want one that is specifically for no ground plane (NGP). They work well..... Jim

I use one mounted to the center of the bars. I use a Sena SR10 with PTT external button routed to the left grip area. So far, I use the built-in antenna. I also have the a 12v docking station to power and mount the radio using a RAM ball and arm. I use a USB A Male to 12V Car Cigarette Lighter Socket Female Converter to power it from the 12v USB. (just one)

Just an FYI
As a long time CB'er easy 60s and HAM Radio Operator (N1BCK) CB's as well as hand held HAM radios are PRIMARILY for use with a Vertical Antenna. They will transmit & receive with either the vertical or what is called a HORIZONTAL.
The difference between the 2 are BASICALLY how they are positioned.
RF energy is such that a Vertical Antenna will receive a substantial loss in receiving from a Horizontal and visa versa.
In the end, your choice, but are are not going to get the range or quality from the transceiver with you antenna in a horizontal position.

Been using this for 4 years in Goldwing groups just fine. I only need to hear the few in front or behind me, don't need to hear anyone miles away! Because there aren't any.
