I get more waves on my Spyder than I ever did on a two wheeler, including my last bike, a Victory Cross Roads.
Ours is a red, black and chrome 2017 F3 Limited. Bought new in 2/2019. The avatar is my first bike back in 1952, a Simplex Servi-Cycle. Photo taken at the Barber Museum.

Glad you enjoying it. I tend to wave at nearly everyone. But I gotta say, a lot of people would never wave at the slingshot due to it having a steering wheel. I wave at them, not because of a "biker brotherhood thing", but because I think they are cool.

In Southern Illinois, I rarely get the wave now that I went from two to three wheels. It's the same bikes that I would pass everyday on two....Oh well....

The slingshot isn't a bike/trike. It's an inexpensive stripped down sports car (sorta). Looks like fun to drive but I can see why many don't wave to them.
I wave to the folks on saddles - bikes, trikes, & horses.

I also agree, and from what I’ve seem, most of that 1% crowd do not wave at anyone. Not even to each other!

Yep, that’s my attitude too, Pooch. Besides, unless you focus your complete attention on an approaching rider, from when you first see them, until they pass you, how can you guarantee they haven’t waved/nodded/some-other-thing back at you….. and if you do focus that hard on them, please let me know when you are heading out for a ride, as I want to stay WELL away from you

I hear what you’re saying Pete. A lot of my cage friends tell me that they saw me out and waved, but I guess you didn’t see me, you didn’t wave back. I hear that a lot, and no, I didn’t see them...I was focused on the road and the trffic

Wave-a-lot
I tend to wave at almost all two and three-wheelers (except during rally weekend) I often wave to bikers and trikers when I'm in my truck or car, just to let them know I'm aware of their presence. When I'm in my BMW Z4, I also wave to other sports cars. Come to think of it, I guess I wave a lot!

I am originally from a small little hic town in NC (Roxboro). I still own land and a house there, and am up there each week for church. When we first moved back to the area from S.C., I forgot about how friendly everyone is. It seems like everyone waves at everyone. Doesn't matter what you are on. Heck, it can even be somebody mowing the lawn besided the road. Everyone still waves. I miss that when I come back to my permanent residence in Apex.

Come spend a little time riding in Texas. It doesn't seem to matter what you are riding, there is only maybe 1 in a 100 bikers or trikers who won't wave. I get consistent waves regardless of if I'm on the Spyder, one of the beemers or my wife's 450 Honda Rebel.
Those who say " I can't" will always be right.
