Front tire clearance - will 165/60R15's fit?
My old 2017 F-3 ran Federal Formoza AZ01 165/55r15 tires on the front, and I liked them a lot. I replaced that bike with a 2020 RT-LTD that is soon to need new front rubber too, but I can't find the Formozas anywhere. Does anybody have a source?
I DO have a source for Continental ContiProContact 165/60-15 tires that are slightly larger. Does anybody know if this tire will clear the fenders? Does anybody have a first-hand opinion about their performance?
The OEM size is hard to find, so if somebody has another suggestion, I'd like to hear it. Thanks.

Vredestein Quatrac 175/55R 15 from tire rack fit great under the 2019 - 2022 fenders

I just ordered a set of these for my spare set of wheels. Like you, I'm in WI, so it'll be awhile before I use them. A couple others here run the tires and like them. Just a touch more $$ than the Federal's. I do run Vredestein 165/60R15's on my PPA wheels without any issues.

The fronts can be done by any auto shop, as the hubs on the wheels are large enough for balancing cones to work. For the rear, an auto shop can remove/mount the tire, but the smaller axle hole will likely require a m/c shop to balance.

Thanks for the help with the tire clearance question. I ordered Vredesteins from Tire Rack this morning. They said they’d send them in a couple weeks when they were in stock again.
Regarding where to get them mounted in Wisconsin, Ecklund Motorsports in Appleton will do it if you bring them the tire.
