Default Handlebar crooked or am I just losing it

So, I don’t know if I’m losing my mind or is it possible that my handlebars are crooked? I just put on a riser from LaMonster and rode it today. It was 70 in Indiana today. My right hand feels like it is is further out than my left. Drove me batty the whole 45 min ride. I did feel like this was the case just slightly in stock position but it feels even amplified now. I do realize there is a taller cluster in the left grip compared to the right which could maybe give an optical illusion… but man it felt off…. I swear I have the bars on the locator pin. They feel tight. Anyone experience this?? Anyone laughing at me and thinking maybe I got into the eggnog over the holidays? Haha. I’m thinking about just taking them off and putting them back on or just raising them up a little bit. Any suggestions? Is there a way to measure or check if the bars are actually straight? I appreciate the help!

The same happened to me after installing a riser. Turns out there's some slack in the holes. Loosen the bolts and rotate the bars clockwise and see if that helps.

    Thumbs up

I have the same issue with my F3T.
I installed 1 inch spacers to make a DIY handle riser.
It was then that I noticed a change in the horizontal plane of the handlebars.
Right handle bar is high. Left is low as gauged by looking into the rear view mirrors.
The height difference is real not imagined. Just amplified by the addition of the riser.
The bike still rides straight and true just with wonky handle bar heights.
The tie rods are out of synch with the front wheel alignment. Not correctly centered probably during assembly at the factory.

A friend had this issue on his RT. It was fixed by having a Squared Away laser alignment.
I'm planning on a laser alignment on my F3 as soon as the weather permits riding once again.

Oh man. Glad you guys came forward lol….. I thought I was losing it. I’ll loosen them up first and then rotate them and see if that helps. If not, I’m going to try to find a laser alignment. My dealer doesn’t have one.

I had a short but good conversation with LaMonster today about the riser. He agreed that it obviously isn't the riser itself. But it is either all in my head or something else is going on with them. I played with it a little and it seemed better but still off. The point I wanted to make is how cool is it to buy parts from a guy that will answer your emails and actually talk to you on the phone. It made me want to do more business with them. I thought it was awesome.

If you haven't had a laser alignment, by all means get one.

Go have your alignment checked and they can center your steering at the same time.
