Default Loss of power with a P1215 error code

My first ride in a month. My 2019 900 ACE has been in a garage and on a tender the whole time. Started right up and took a few minutes to warm up. I got about 10 miles from home and it died. Instrument cluster went dark but still showed the numbers and levels.(Fuel and temp).

After my meltdown on the freeway, I disconnected the battery and checked the fuses. (All were good).
The only electronic mischief I have done is a model 3 Digital Dawg remote starter.

After I called the tow truck, I reattached the battery. It started like nothing happened. I waved the truck off and drove home.

My power vision 3 from dynojet reads a historical error code of P1215 but no current error codes. I purchased the service manual and it does not list any P12-- error codes.

Thank you in advance. My only recent addition is a beautiful "Freedom" radiator protector from BLR tuning and it is hard to blame that. LOL

    For automotive applications P1215 varies:

If it was more than a slightly loose connection at your battery which has a fair degree of probability, I would unplug and replug all the connectors that you can reasonably access.

    Thanks, DickB

geosar: In the absence of specific service manual recommendations, post 2 advice is the same.
You may have already made a correction by reconnecting the battery, but you may want to also check the engine/frame negative battery connection.

Thank you for the help. I disconnected the battery and carefully reattached the negative terminal. Rode it yesterday afternoon with no issues.

The Power Vision 3 error P1215 cleared with out my intervention.

    I appreciate the educated help.
