F3 SM6 Hard clutch pull
I just recently bought a 2015 F3 SM6 and am concerned about the really firm clutch lever pull. I have had many Motorcycles, but never have I experienced such a firm clutch pull. Is this normal for CanAm’s? Ideas? suggestions?
Thanks for your time Willie

Yup, that's how they are! Worse than my Ducati was before I fixed it.... And is what steered me away from the manual version. There is an "adapter" kit sold by BRP that eases it some, but, really only noticeable at higher vacuum levels (IE; idle!)... YRMV as to how much it helps....

Hmm interesting engineering problem. With the 1330s powerful alternator, is a vacuum booster pump feasible? Does the F3 already have a reservoir? If not one would be needed to endure boost was always available.

On my 2015sm6 my dealer put a vacuum assist on the clutch that they have in a kit if they take the time to help you. Mine did it under warranty . It does work very well most of the time!!

Mind boggling as to why they didn't do hydraulic actuation... But I guess they had to save pennies somewhere... I've often thought that a longer actuator arm on the shift shaft could alleviate the problem but not sure if there would be enough room for its arc....
