Unless you have 17" custom wheels ..... you don't have Vredestein " PRO " tires ..... 17" inch is the smallest Dia. for that model tire ..... just trying to help .... Mike

    I stand corrected.

Vredestein Quatrac 5 tires on the front. My bad!

    Darn good tires though.

Nice! I would have to sell my 2013 RTL before I could buy this. I would like to move up to the 1330 for better gas mileage and six gears. It's got most all the farkles I have on mine...which means less work for me! Price is quite reasonable as well. Good luck with a quick sale.

The difference moving up to the 1330 for better performance and gas mileage is tremendous. Have a buddy that had a 2011 RTL and we were always looking for a gas station after 100 miles. Now - 180-200 miles.. Much more peace of mind, particularly out West with more distance between stations.

    Dan,

Agree...would love to move up. I would need to sell my 2013 RTL first...and that won't happen right away because of other commitments. BTW, I am in San Antonio so we are close!

A late Christmas present to you is here.

A very well cared for 2016 Spyder RTL needs a new home. Absolutely ready for a trip right now!

I’m surprised my bike hasn’t sold yet.

    What is a fair offer?

Not sure why it has not sold...too close to Christmas, maybe. I think your price is very fair with the price of Spyder's today. Hang in there...someone will come along and snatch it up.

I do have a co-worker that is looking for an 2014 or newer RT, but his max price that the boss has set for him is $15,000. I know that is a lot lower than you are looking for, but if interested, PM me.

I had a $16,000 offer and turned it down.

Man! I can't believe no one is jumping on this one. If we didn't already have a low mileage 2014, I'd be all over it. Had to comment to get it back to the top of the page. I've been sharing this on other pages; hope you get it sold soon.

    Thanks for those comments!!

I’m pretty surprised myself. I wondered if the pricing was such people thought something might be wrong with the bike.

I take great care with all my vehicles and when I sell I try to price fairly.

Whoever ends up with this bike will be a happy camper!!

I sent the link to this thread to an old high school friend of mine earlier today. He only lives about 40 miles from me now and I'm hoping to get him on a Spyder so we can ride together once in a while. He gave up two wheelers a couple years ago for many of the same reasons us older guys do.

The bike is still for sale and riding season is approaching!!!

If someone is seriously considering a 2016 RTL, I don’t believe you can find a better deal out there. Keeping a bike well maintained, even with 35K miles, is better than many bikes with less miles but not well taken care of.

I was out of pocket when someone wanted to buy my bike but opted to put a deposit for another 2016 with far less miles before speaking with me. He called me later lamenting he didn’t buy mine. The bike he brought home ultimately had a huge rodent nest inside the bike that used a sunglass case to wedge amongst the internal parts with some frayed wiring to make a home for the critter.

I realize a private seller may put off some but I maintain all my vehicles, keep them cleaned up and drive 220,000+ miles before trading them in and they are in better shape than many with 60-70K.

Whoever ends up becoming the new owner will not regret buying a well maintained bike at a fair price.
