2015 Spyder F3-S SE6 stalls when idling with Check Engine Light on
After driving my 2015 Spyder F3-S SE6 (87,500 miles)for about 5-10 minutes, when I come to a stop, the engine check light comes on then stalls. Works fine when over 1000rpm. Finally was able to get an error code..P0106. Error code states it is possible mass air flow (MAP) sensor or tubing leak.
I have checked the filter, changed spark plugs and only run premium gas.
I have looked and can not figure out where the MAP sensor is located. Can someone point me to the location? Is it part of the throttle body module? Also under what section in the BRP parts list is it located? Thanks!

Spyderf3-s -- those glasses you're wearing ... you need a new pair. It's MAP not MAF.
P0106 ECM Manifold absolute pressure circuit range/performance
And the sensor is actually MAPTS (MAP+Intake Temperature Sensor). EFI Subsection Page 25 in my 2014 Service Manual. Top Left side of engine. 4-pin connector. It's probably leaking a bit of air or a connector isn't quite perfect. Easy to replace if it's bad.

Unfortunately I do not have a 2015 F3-S service manual. Does anyone know the part number? Is it 707000995 - Pressure And Temperature Sensor?

For those who may have to replace the MAP sensor, it is easy to access the screw that holds the sensor in place by taking the plastic cover around the ignition off. The screw is straight down and requires a T27 to remove it. Just a FYI, the screw is not magnetic so be careful when removing

My wife’s ’18 F3L is doing this now intermittently with approx 72k miles on it. I hope this was the fix for you, I’m going to tackle this on hers this weekend!
