    Default 2010RT code P1614

Spyder on startup goes to hight idle 2,000 plus rpms and then down to 0 rpms and dies.

Code says Throttle position failure on throttle release

    Check throttle mechanical adjustment.

Can this be done without (B.U.D.S)

    Any help would be appreciated,

    Thanks

Unfortunately, the owner of a 2010 RT never wants to see that code. You might get by with a dealer doing a Throttle Position Sensor reset. Read through this, though. (give it a few seconds to come in) It tells you if a Throttle Body replacement or cleaning is warranted. You may want to print this off and provide it to the dealer in case they can't come up with it. It''s been a long time.
