SE5 transmission filter - how to tell if it's the extended version?

I just bought a 2011 rt se5 how can I tell if the transmission filter has been changed to the extended filter?

Determining which Transmission filter you have on your 2008-2012 SE5 Spyder.
First, measure the length of the transmission filter cap from where it mates to the case to the end.
If this cap is 7/8" long, you have the Original Length Filter
If this cap is 1-3/8" long, then you have the Extended Transmission Filter.
