Default Jumping the gun a little? Booked rooms for Three Wheel Rally in Deadwood for July

I may be jumping the gun a little, but I made my motel reservations for the Three Wheel Rally in Deadwood for July. Even if something goes wrong and for whatever reason the rally is not held, it will still make a nice road trip.

Would be kind of cool to have a group get together for a ride.

We plan to take a nice leisurely ride down over a 2 day period. This is an itinerary I've been working on. This route follows I-90.

Depart Ritzville on July 10th at 0800 hrs
Fuel stop and rest Haugan MT distance 169 miles 2 ½ hours
Rest stop Missoula distance 91 miles, 1 hr 15 min
Rest stop refuel Bozeman 205 miles 2 hr 47 min
Over night stop refuel Billings Mt 141 miles 2 hrs 7 min

Depart Billings Mt July 11th 0800 hrs

Rest refuel Sheridan Wy 132 miles 2 hrs 26 min
Rest and refuel Gillett 103 miles 1 hr 28 min
Rest refuel Sundance 164 miles 2 hr 20 min
Check in Deadwood SD 45 miles 44 min

I might break those two 200+mile stretches' into 2 smaller chunks. Our planned stay runs 11-14. We might stay over one more night, still up in the air on that.

We too have already booked our rooms. One place was already sold out. We're newbies to doing the 3 wheel rally thing cuz we just got our Spyder this past spring. This trek will be our longest yet (even though it's only from one side of SD to the other ). SOOOO excited!!!!
