Default Any new revelations concerning the parking brake not releasing issue?

Have there been any new revelations concerning the parking brake not releasing issue? I just trailered my F3t back from North Carolina to Florida. Had to remove the spring and free the parking brake cable, to get it off my trailer. Usually when it won't release, I just shut off the engine and reset it two or three times, and then it works. Wasn't budging this time. I don't have much faith in my dealer to fix it, but it is under warranty. Don't know what to do while I wait to get service. I want to ride!

Sometimes its a low battery that doesn't have enough to make the PB motor work. Many have found it to be a bad PB motor and a warranty fix.

Start the bike which should resolve a low battery condition.

If it’s not a power issue, just disconnect it.

purchase a folding wheel chock. when stopped use wheel chock. when you wish to, bring in for repair. I had the problem and tried various fixes which did not work. Finally disconnected cable- removed cable actuating wheel and micro switch reinstalled and adjusted has been trouble free for the past year

had this happen a couple of times on my F3-T, after adjusting the cable, no further issues.

So starting the bike and revving the engine doesn't seem to solve the problem

I reconnected the parking brake, and adjusted the cable. Everything working fine, now. Hope it continues.

I had this trouble on my 2016 F3L every week or so. The dealer "replaced a module" which seemed to fix it for a while, then it came back every 6 months or so. Currently OK but if it shows up again I won't be surprised.
