Default Installing Beamtech LED headlights - how do they fit in??

I know some folks here have installed the Beamtech H4 LED headlights from Amazon. Based on those recommendations I purchased a set.

For the life of me, I cannot figure out how to slip the rubber dust cover over the fan housing or the bulb 3 prong bracket to get it situated between the bulb and the housing.

Did you cut the rubber? I tried heat and lube without luck. Maybe I need to be more aggressive .

Any tips would be appreciated .

    Thank you

Did you take the actual headlights out? Only real way to fit these bulbs in.

Even after removing the headlight housings I couldn't fit these in either. The rubber boot no longer fits over the enlarged LED housing. The prongs didn't line up. I ended up returning them and using a brighter halogen.

Have the Beamtech's in my F3S and they're awesome. I slipped off the rubber boot. Never any issues with condensation, etc..

I don't have that bulb, but I cut the rubber grommet to fit.

Thank you for the replies. Cutting might be the order of the day. I'm not going to let it beat me. LOL

I used the led bulbs from Spyder pops for the headlights and the fog lights with no problems. Something like $50 per pair

Victory!! Mr. Poli gave me the ultimate cure for my problem. The bulb can be twisted from the three prong flange. I thank him.

I will say, however, inserting a Beamtech bulb is doable, but I cannot see doing it any other way than removing the headlight. This is easy thanks to Mr. Ramseyer's video. So my recommendation is ask questions, remove the headlight and eventually the mystery will be revealed.

What a great forum and again thank you to Mr Poli. I had my heavy duty shears ready to massacre my dust boot. Thank goodness it was not necessary.

Ummm, this is the Ryker section. However, I'm happy your lights are working.
