Anyone used 3 ramps to raise Spyder for an oil change?

Has anyone used 3 car ramps to raise their spyder for an oil change? Seems like backing on ramps should work but ya never know...

I use 2 ramps & sometimes a floor jack. The ramps alone are all you need for oil change but the extra room by lifting the rear is nice for working underneath.

I only need two because my driveway has a dip in it right where it's convenient to do oil changes, etc. Note that the ramps are nicely locked in place. Yup, bike is level.

Does raising on front ramps only allow all the oil to drain, or does some accumulate in the drain pan on the downhill side of the drain plug opening?

We use 3 rhino ramps. Instead of driving up on them with all three wheels, I use my motorcycle jack. I raise the bike high enough and slip ramps under. I drive forward “off” them when done but not “onto” them. The motorcycle jack reduces the shooting out/kicking out and no chance for overdrive. You do have to rev and have a bit of speed to get up on them if you drive on them. Hard on belt and clutch in my opinion. I use them for everything including cleaning. Just a warning……………if at the end of the season you remove all the plastic for cleaning and you clean and wipe the parking brake and blow out the pedal brake light case, don’t accidentally slide the thin rag through the parking brake switch or that spyder likes to come off those ramps really quick! You’ll find yourself chasing it down the driveway. Don’t ask how I know that!

Very nice Ric, I don't think I have ever seen anybody with colormatched ramps before!

I use three ramps. I used to drive up on the front 2 then jac up the rear wheel and put a 3rd ramp under that. Now I use my old Harbour Freight ATV jack find a balance point and jack all 3 wheels at once, then place the ramps and remove the ATV jack. Just the reverse to remove.

The drains are at the rear of the crankcase so only raising the front is perfectly fine for oil changes.

ATV jack, 2 jack stands, large wooden block/ handle for the back tire. LOTS of room.
