Default How hard is it to replace an Upper Ball Joint?

My upper ball joint needs replacing on my right front wheel. Has anyone done this themselves? Is it difficult? I have ordered the parts from Cheap Cycle Parts but am torn as to if I can do it myself or have the dealer do it.

I have complete confidence in you John! Like they say. "How hard could it be? Just take off the old part and put the new one on! Easy Peasy!"

Im guessing its set up the same as an RT so you will need a ball joint press with a small adapter which you may have to try to use a large socket bc they usually only have adapters for larger ball joints. If youve never done one youll probably scratch up the control arm pretty good so you might be better off getting the whole arm with the joint already in if they sell it that way.The other idea is take the arm off at the frame and remove the pinch bolt that holds the joint to the knuckle, then take the whole thing to your local auto garage or even better a machine shop, they have presses and could do that job in 10 minutes.
