TV News being delivered in record times
Anyone else feel newscasters are speaking faster than ever ? Sometimes you can barely understand the topic. Seems like they want to make room for even more ads.

I stopped watching TV 'news' awhile back, about the same time I quit Facebook, and for the same reason; it's all just attention-grabbing hysteria. Now, I read up on the topics I'm interested in. I feel I'm better informed that way, and my anxiety level is much reduced.

I quit watching network and local TV news long ago. We used to have pretty good local folks but they replaced the one good lady with a young bimbo that looks like she is on her way to a cocktail party to troll for Mr. Right for the night. And, don't get me started on the weather babe..... Jim

It's the way of the new generation. Wait staff in restaurants, tellers at banks, clerks in dept. stores, pimple-faced order takers at fast food places etc. they all talk so fast with such poor enunciation of words, it's almost impossible to understand them.
Those who say " I can't" will always be right.

I think the problem is with old farts like us going deaf and dim-witted and expecting youngsters to make adjustments on our behalf...
