Default Would this jack be ok for an 18 F3-L?

Not really sure it would be stable enough? The rest at Harbor freight didn't seem to have the best reviews.

I have the steel one from HF and it works well. The one you are looking at should as well, but don't put the extensions on as it will not fit under your Spyder.

Would you mind linking me to the one you have?

Dont know about reviews, I have not read any. But, I do know that this has been a very good jack for my spyders. Have not had any problems.

I have the craftsman aluminum one. The HF is a direct copy. It’s lighter. I use mine a couple of times a week on jobs. Lighter is better. Moving it, using it, putting it away. I have steel ones, and even a big blue (for sale!), but my go to is the aluminum.

Do you know where I can find pics/video that show the lift points for this model?

I have the aluminum one for my F3T and it works great. I would not be doing any heavy wrenching unless you strap it down or put it on stands. I emptied my bags for balance and positioned the jack under the engine, which seems to be the balance point. The picture shows the trike high enough to replace the anti-sway bar.

That's the one I have. But I would go with what "captjam" said, aluminum if I did it again; and what "Wheelman" said, secure your spider with jack stands after it's up.

I was on the understanding that the Spyder had to be raised 24” and HF states the lift raises 17”. I’d like to replace my anti sway bar with the Baja Ron sway bar and was considering this lift.

I'd be curious about this as well. The swaybar is approx 24" long and the directions mention 20-22" to get the bike raised.

The aluminum jack looks to have a wider stance. Cost a bit more, but weight and stance would work better, my opinion.

I used the aluminum jack to install the new sway bar and it worked great. The jack comes with two extensions that get the trike high enough for the swap. When I lowered the jack, the trike was just barely sitting on the jack. Still able to get the jack out without a problem.
