Luggage debate - BRP vs Hopnel/other brands?
The Mrs said it would be nice to have luggage for our Spyder F3L. What are the thoughts on the BRP bags vs Hopnel, or any other brand I may not know about. The last overnight we did I used plastic shopping bags and thought they worked fine. We walked through a really, really nice hotel and got some looks. In fact, the guy at the counter got real snooty and said, "i'm sorry, you have to have reservations to stay here." And I said, "Good thng we do!" Butin his defense I'm sure we looked like who-did-it-and-ran walking through there all sweaty, sunburnt, smelling like road, and carrying our shopping bags with clothes in them. hahaha

Don't know about Hopnel bags for the F3 but for those designed for the 2012-2019 RT they are reasonable quality for the money and easy to use. I carry my foul weather gear in one of the saddlebag bags and the rest of my clothing and stuff in the frunk bag. Since I had to begin using a CPAP machine five years ago my left saddlebag carries it. I travel quite light.

A good duffel bag always works well on a bike. Used them for years.

Consider this - how much wear is the luggage going to get ???? ..... I have Hopnels and I'm happy .... jmho .... Mike

I was able to buy BRP saddles liners for $40 plus a discount code so it was like $36 for both. I’m very happy with my BRP ones but not sure I’d spend $60 for them.
