Hello guys, i ll probably change my drive belt and i heard that the Ryker and the canam Maverick share the same type of clutch… i was wondering if I can use this type of tool to open up the secondary clutch… it s a one step process….

Here's a video from Ryker Rydes. She shows and lists the tools needed for a belt change our Rykers. Not sure if this is what your looking for or not.

I saw the video! Very good one. The only thing is the screw is robbing on the clutch and i dont like that! The tool that i looked has rollers and wont damage the clutch… i ll go see my dealership and ask them…

I have worked on many snowmobile clutches and trust me that screw will not harm that part, and if you still think that, you could put a small piece of sheet metal under the screw and tighten it down on that!

I need some explanation. What is wrong with the belt changing tools that BRP sells? They're only $45 for both.

And don't forget once you have the changing tools you save $$$.$$ on labor costs many times over.
