NEW 2021 Spyder F3 LTD
Sept 28, 2021
Today I traded in my 2021 Sea to Sky for a 2021 F3LTD. Don't ask why. I just get antsie. LOL.
My S2S was all apart because they were trying to fix the stereo, which was cutting in and out. The tupperware was off and everything was exposed. Not a pretty site. However, due to the delay by BRP for getting back to the dealer as to where the problem might be, I got frustrated after 2 weeks and decided to make a change. I like the Magna Red, which looks like orange to me. Anyway I drove it home and liked it. I just hope my back doesn't bother me on the F3. The S2S was great, but I switched anyway.
Now I have to figure out how to get the back seat off to get to the tool kit and the schrader valve. I put my battery tender on it when I got home but it wouldn't go to green. I stayed on yellow. The cycle fires right up. The dealer put on the battery tender wire to the battery. The tender got warm so I turned it off and will check with the dealer tomorrow.
I noticed that the air pressure should be 15 front and 28 rear. When I just checked it after sitting a couple of hours the fronts read 24 psi. I didn't check the back yet.
It was nice to hear the stereo coming home. That was a treat after all the problems with the RT stereos.
That's it for now. Tomorrow I will ask the dealer to show me how some of this stuff works. I read it in the manual, but I would like them to show me. Later Spyders.

I am so glad I didn't buy the RTL I was headed for and got the F3L. The ergonomics are very adjustable and if the seat it not right, there are many solutions. My solution was to buy a used Ultimate and have it customized to fit. No....one size does not fit all.
I do all my own maintenance and the F3L is sooo much easier to work on, especially in the Tupperware department.
Ours is a red, black and chrome 2017 F3 Limited. Bought new in 2/2019. The avatar is my first bike back in 1952, a Simplex Servi-Cycle. Photo taken at the Barber Museum.

To get passenger seat off insert key in ignition push key down and turn toward the wrench symbol. Seat will pop up. The other way is your frunk. Also there is no Schrader valve on the limited model. Has auto level with air pump for air bag. Love my 18 F3L. I think you will too. I had to replace my seat though. Got a Seth Laam seat. Love it.
