Default I made a dashboard for my RT accessories.

I needed a solid mount for extra rear view mirrors to see over the trailer(s) we pull behind our Spyders. I also wanted a more convenient way of mounting vid-cam, power outlets, phone, etc. So, I came up with this solution, made of aluminum. There are numerous 1/4-20 threaded holes in the horizontal plate, in addition to the old Spyder logo'd RAM-ball mount.

Sweet! Unfortunately the ST I have doesn't provide any bolts to add such a platform.

I don't know how I missed seeing this before. Very nice Pete. Can you provide dimensions to that plate. I also need something like that to mount some other type of mirror for the same reason. Also out of curiosity what are the 2 gauges shown in pictures #1 and #3?

I'll work on providing more detail on the build.

Those are old Formotion clock and thermometer left over from my 2 wheeler.

On our recent trip, the mirrors worked out really well. I had no trouble seeing Jane clearly on her bike behind me and there was no noticeable vibration.

The platform width is straight across the front (closest to cockpit) 13-1/4"
The side edges go straight back from the front edge (90 degrees) 4" and then start an arc to the center for windshield curvature.
The apex of the back curve is 7" from the front edge.
