Default Foam hand grips - do they work with heated grips?

Will foam hand grips cause a problem with the heated grips on my 2018 RT Limited? Will they allow the heat to pass through or will they get sticky?

I got foam grips from canamspyderaccessories.com for my 2021 RT. He claims they are slightly thinner (video here) and work better than thicker grips.

They work well for me with either the low or high heat. They have not become sticky and after several minutes I can feel the heat through my gloves.

Greg, I got the ones from Lamonster and they work great with the heaters on. In fact high is too high most of the time. I've thought about doubling them. Neither were the brands mentioned above.

I'm sure they will .... I made my own from closed cell neoprene foam ... like what wet suits are made of .... they are pretty thick and the heat comes thru ..... Mike

I just replaced my worn out Grip Puppies with new ones Sunday. Low heat setting is marginal for heat and the high setting is low setting with out the Grip Puppies.

Can’t remember the brand of the foam grips I put on but heat comes through admirably well.
The foam adds very good comfort for my tender hands.
I have put foam grips on all of my past motorcycles…it was usually the first accessory to be put on.

Yes, they absolutely work with heated grips, at least mine from Tricled do. No, they don't get sticky, not in 6 1/2 years and 71.7K miles. Use hand sanitizer to easily install them.

The heat comes thru pretty good on my Grab On covers. This company .. https://www.shop.originalbeemerbuddi...B-CC-SS_c7.htm makes a "lite" version that is slightly thinner. I used those on a Triumph 800 Tiger with heated grips and they also worked well. Have to specify "Lites" when ordering.

I have a set of Grip Puppies on my 2020RTL. Easy to install and work well with heated grips.
