    Sept 12, 2021

I am just wondering if any of the Rykers that have skid plates undereath have to remove them for an oil change when draining from the two plugs ?

Skidplate removal is not necessary. However, some have used a toilet paper roll tube stuck up in the hole around the drain plugs to direct flow and reduce mess. It also helps if the bike is level so that no extra oil runs inside the skidplate. If you run the front tires up on ramps jack up the rear an equivalent amount and put a block under the tire.
